Confirmed from Woodland Mound's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
1,066-acre landscape with Ohio River Valley views, offering disc golf, a wet playground & boat ramp.
What runners say about Woodland Mound
“Clean and well maintained with a cool little pro shop.”
“This is a beautiful serene place to visit, hidden from the hustle and bustle of the road and fast paced life.”
“While not shaded, the breeze that comes with being up on the hilltop was so cooling and comfortable even on a day that got up to 80°!”
“Great customer service as well and a very nice and family friendly environment!”
Very beautiful park. Lots of different trails too. Walking paths connecting throughout the park making it easy to walk with a stroller or the little ones. We personally loved the workout path the best. Took us about a half hour to walk through it. The views were awesome as well!
Today we decided to go somewhere we’d never been, so we ended up at Woodland Mound. It was kind of late in the day, so we didn’t have much time at the spray park! However a walk thru the park was just what we needed!
Whether you are a Cincinnati native or in town for a visit Woodland Mound Park (WMP) is a must consider destination. If you have children WMP has a nice playground area and if the weather is hot enough WMP has a small water park. The water park is small .. about the size of a medium sized playground.
Woodland Mound is a treasure and I'm not sure how I've gone this long without being there before now. There are multiple relatively short hiking trails of varying difficulty, a wonderful overlook to see the river and changing leaves on all the trees.
