Confirmed from Allen Pond Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This park has athletic fields, picnic sites, a fishing pond, trails, an ice rink & skateboard area.
What runners say about Allen Pond Park
“Very well kept and so much to do here, from ice skating, concerts, a day at the park, or picnicking.”
“Absolutely gorgeous no matter what season you visit!”
“This park was peaceful with a pond, two playgrounds, and plenty of other amenities near by.”
Nice clean park. Plenty of space to enjoy a walk around the pond. Also there’s plenty of parking! There’s a skate park , basketball, and soccer fields. There’s some empty field as well. There are picnic tables available and two children playground. One is for older kids and one is for toddlers
The serenity and peace you feel from walking here are top-notch. It's usually never too busy, and a clear fall day is like something you'd see in a photographer's portfolio. Pics included as proof! The ice skating rink right next to it is also a huge draw of that's your thing.
Nice, small man-made lake is good for a relaxing walk around it. It's very urban so there's not much of a wooded area. You can fish there but you won't get any trophies for the bass. I hear that it's stocked with trout occasionally.
Beautiful lake park with tons of geese and ducks. Be careful when walking around the lake, however, because there are lots of bird droppings. There are also lots of play structures for children, but my favorite thing here is the gazebo located in the middle of the lake.
