My dog loves this park! It's beautiful, and right down from Rocky Branch cemetery, where several of my family members are buried. If noone is around I let her run free and she has the best time.
Nestled over in West Waynesville in the cove is a well maintained little park. There's a walking trail (around .4 miles long so it takes just over 2 laps to get a mile in). There's a sweet little playground, bathrooms, a covered picnic area for parties, and a large field and movable goals for soccer games.
This park is well maintained and the fields are nice to play soccer, picnic, or just lay there with your dog after throwing the ball. Plenty of parking usually because rarely are there a lot of people. Great view of the granite quarry. The person that maintains the park also lives right beside it.
A beautifully kept park with a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. A paved walkway around a loop trail. The cleanest public bathrooms I’ve ever seen! A nice covered pavilion with plenty of picnic tables.
