Confirmed from Amanda's Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Amanda's Trail
“Fun easy trail for my lady who is new to hiking”
This is a great lil trail. Lots of side trails connecting all along the corridor. The first 5 miles in to the Molalla Recreational Area is open.
If you're looking for a peaceful nature hike this is your place. I only saw two other people (a couple jogging) over 1.5 hours and it was July 4th weekend. As an inexperienced hiker I thought the begging of the trail was VERY steep but was able to manage it with a few breaks to catch my breath.
Easy to experience mt bike- hiking- horse trails. Fun. About 25 miles on BLM land.
