Confirmed from Ambrose Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Peaceful park featuring a pond, plus a playground, picnic sites and boardwalks.
What runners say about Ambrose Park
This is one of my favorite parks to walk to from my house. It's on the smaller side with a path that doesn't quite go all the way around the pond. My dog likes to run around and chase the ducks. My only thing is that I wish the walking trail went all the way around the park!
Go enjoy the boardwalk. The greens are very well manicured. The fellas who maintain the lawn must be some real pros because that grass feels like something good for youngsters... some real mow-it-alls.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceBoardwalk — flat and scenic, and slick when wet, so watch your footing
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
