Confirmed from Amherst Beaver Creek Reservation's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This is a gem in a really busy area. It is my favorite place to take my walk any time of year

★★★★★ — Teresa , Nov 2023

Beautiful spot for a walk on paved pathways above and surrounding a very scenic creek. It is largely accessible for strollers, wagons, and wheelchairs. The paved pathways have a few slight uphill sections. There is a great playground and safety town area which would be so fun for little ones to visit.

★★★★★ — Stacey , Mar 2025

Great 1mi paved loop along Beaver Creek. Has newly redone playground and "Safety Town" for the kids, along with nice restrooms. Also, reservable shelter and building meeting room. Also located next to police station and soccer fields. Eat access right off Oak Point Rd

★★★★★ — The , Jul 2023

Beautiful place for a walk. The path is just under a mile loop. Lots of wildlife. They do have bathroom available. Another cool thing is the little village bike path for kids lined with tiny buildings a road with road signs.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
