Confirmed from Anchor Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“That’s not only because it’s beautiful, but also because it’s just pretty unique when it comes to what it offers.”

This is definitely one of my favorite parks in the area. That’s not only because it’s beautiful, but also because it’s just pretty unique when it comes to what it offers.

Very nice relaxing atmosphere. Great place for children to play or if you like to take walks

★★★★★ — Molly , Jun 2025

Great place to walk around lake and through neighborhoods. Lots of walking options and amenities. Paved trails and a few small hills if you need cardio.

★★★★★ — Ben , Nov 2023

Anchor Park is a really nice place for the kids to play, it to have a picnic. There is a really great playground, a sand pit, a little Lincoln logs style playhouse that my kids lived climbing on, picnic tables, a pond you can fish in, and a nice walking trail.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 9 mentions

“I don’t like how far away the swings are from the main playground, there is no fence, and the bathrooms are across the parking lot from the playground.”
