Confirmed from Andorra Natural Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Andorra Natural Area

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (33 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

“Great trails to walk Beautiful serenity”

Nice and easy hike. Probably a good spot for a family with young kids. Parking wasn't too bad, and the water was always close by. No incredibly spectacular views, but still a pretty fun stroll. Lots and lots of people bring their dogs here. The dogs seem to love it.

★★★★☆ — Wisdom , May 2017

Very autumn-looking upon the very beginning of the spring - a bit surreal. I love the lights and the texture of the grasses. Impressionists should go there. The narrow but clear path should lead you well.

★★★★★ — Wanyu , Mar 2023

The Great Beech is located in this area just a short distance from the Wissahicken Environmental Center. Just check the poles throughout located near the trails and you can find anything on the postings.

★★★★★ — Rene , Jul 2026

It's beautiful here in any season. We embarked on a quick hike, and ended up wanting to go for longer, so we explored the Tree House area. It was sunny but chilly, so we didn't run into as many folks as possible. Looking forward to exploring more when the foliage comes back!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
