Confirmed from Bells Mill Road West Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly area features walking and hiking trails amid verdant surrounds.
What runners say about Bells Mill Road West Trailhead
“it’s enough hard to give a thrill, and enough beautiful for the sceneries.”
Great place to take a nice walk of hike. Historic Thomas Hill covered bridge about 3/4 mile walk.
this is a perfect trail course gor everyone. it’s enough hard to give a thrill, and enough beautiful for the sceneries. it’s been soooo while to hike and I so much appreciate this trail.
On Sunday June 5, my friend and I and his cute old English sheep dog, went to Bell's Mill Road and Forbidden Drive for a walk and lunch. The trail is a bit rocky, so take your time. There is an area to park. At the end of the trail was a round stone table and stone bench. Pretty had on the buns.
I run this trail daily five days a week and have to say there is nothing else quite like it in the Philadelphia area. There are hundreds of trails to choose from and this is the one I like the best. It is not hugely overpopulated during the week of course Saturdays and Sundays.
