Superb trail for a tandem bicycle. Arrived early afternoon and headed east. About four miles in we spotted a deer running in the ditch ahead of us. Both of its front legs were broken. It still managed to trot on the stumps with the broken ends dangling. We called the Florida State Park at Gold Head and reported it.
Nice rest stop when riding the palatka to Lake Butler paved trail. Nice Pavilion and picnic tables to relax and take a break at.
