This is definitely one of North Florida's hidden treasures. Been hiking this area for several months for about 60-90 minutes walking down the main road which leads Southwest from the only access to the park off SR-100. Discovered the horse trails and Hoffman's Crossing. Still lots more to explore!
Nice part of the Florida trail. The approach is wide open and sunny but the actual trail is tight and shady. There are many bridges some in poor condition but it's run by volunteers so it's understandable. Saw 2 big gators and 6 babies.
This is a great hiking spot long trails that are part of the Florida trail there is a campsite here as well
