Confirmed from Appleton Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“The grounds are well-maintained, the ponds add a peaceful touch, and there are great areas for families, picnics, and casual sports.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“Walking around the pond and checking out a concert at the amphitheater add to the memorable moments at this beautiful park.”

This is probably my favorite park in Appleton and would highly recommend if you’re in the area. Lots of walking space, a few playgrounds, many baseball fields, and quite a bit more.

One of our favorite parks when visiting appleton. So much to do and the rubber floor is my favorite type of park. My kids love everything about this park. They also really enjoy the interactive trail that you walk and there's a page from a book to read every few feet.

Went to a venue iside of the park for a wedding and this park is awesome. Its got everything. Playgrounds, bathrooms, baseball fields, basketball courts, tennis courts i believe, and plenty of walking trails. The leaves when i visited were beautiful too.

Big Park with a little of everything for everyone! Three playgrounds for the 🚸kiddos! 🎣Fishing pond is popular. Lots of winding 🚶‍♀️walking trails🚶 with shade, plants to identify🌱, butterflies🦋 and benches to rest🪑. Dog friendly🐕‍🦺. More than enough parking 🅿️ on both side of park.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
