Confirmed from Appomattox River Greenway's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring trails for walking and biking, plus picnic tables and a fishing spot.

“Easy trail to walk, run, or bike.”
It's nice, the path is clear and some brush has been cut back. Plenty of space for kids and pets. There are spots to fish. All in all the path is wide enough for bikers, runners and strollers.
Leisurely walk down by the Appomattox. Google maps will not get you to the right place, address is 265 Charles Dimmock Pkwy. Trail ends rather abruptly with a sign that reads “trail end”. Views are not as pretty as other trails on the Appomattox.
Nice paved trail for running or walking. Right next to the Appomattox river. Trail is flat and very well maintained. There is an entrance to the trail behind Holiday Inn, Colonial Heights, as well as parking.
Good place for family and friends to take a walk along the river. Also conveniently connects south park shopping area to Old Towne Petersburg
