Part of this site is where the long defunct Innsbruck USA ski area once was, so many of the trails were once ski slopes. There are isolated remnants of ski lift infrastructure visible at times. Very nice hiking up and down the hills.
We've hiked and fished this park. It's very nice if a bit rustic. Blazed trails but no bathrooms. The only thing I was annoyed by is how many people use it as a dog park. I'm not comfortable bringing my dog because of how many unleashed dogs running a ways from their owners I've seen.
A great state park that offers you plenty of variety when it comes to your hiking trails. I’ve walked the hill portion of the park and the watershed portion both are outstanding. The only thing that lets this park down is unfortunately the people using trail.
I only visited the pond, but it was a great spot to do some fun and basic fishing off the shore for a few hours. Some very cool wildlife in the area also. Overall a relaxing place to fish( after a little walk on the trail across the street from the parking spots please note )
