Confirmed from Archery Carter Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic riverside park offering hiking and mountain-bike trails as well as archery ranges.
What runners say about Archery Carter Park
“Great place for a nice walk and very well maintained trails.”
“When I saw an opening in the trees I headed towards it to find the absolutely beautiful Miami River with a little hid out area to relax and listen to nature.”
“I would definitely recommend but would suggest going with someone because the dirt trails are pretty long, very lonely and quiet.”
“Nice easy hike to Miami River.”
I was originally looking for a park to Rollerblade at and saw there were paved paths here. I was a bit dissapointed with the paved path section due to it being such a small trail. But when I noticed all of the little off trails I decided to go on a hike. I had absolutely no idea where I was going.
Trail was just what I needed after a long day of work. There's a paved trail but you can get off and go exploring on the dirt trails which was loads of fun! I interacted with beautiful flowers, muddy hills, beautiful birds and even dipped my toes in the cool gentle river water.
Great hiking trails. Excellent downhill mountain bike trails. Spectacular views of the scenic little miami river that leads down to the old dam and canal entrance for the mills
Paved path that is very short but leads you to an archery range. Very clean. There are dirt paths off it that lead you into the woods and to the river. Some of the side paths are pretty steep. Pretty little hike.
