We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Simpson Creek Nature Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Simpson Creek Nature Trail
“The trail is beautiful, but I was nervous the whole time, because several signs say that your car will be towed if you are not a resident.”
The trail is beautiful, but I was nervous the whole time, because several signs say that your car will be towed if you are not a resident. Anyone know how often cars actually get towed?
Nice place to go for a evening walk. Trail is neat and lake looks beautiful at sunset.
This is located near a housing subdivision. My expectations was fairly low when I saw the area this was located in. To my amazement it was fabulous. There was water crossings elevation change difference in the trail all the things a hiker enjoys.
Good spot for some trail running with elevation changes, water crossings, and a good amount of shade. Most of the trails are not marked but there are a points of reference to find your way.
