A significant, uncontested, forested hiking trail in Garrison. You will walk a total of 4 miles on a special path along the Hudson River. The altitude is around 400 and you can walk without difficulty. Garrion Station parking at the starting point location is available on weekends and at any holidays for free.
Easy hiking area located in Garrison NY right next to the Garrison Train Station. This loop hike is ideal for all hikers as it's relatively flat. It features views of Hudson River, West Point, a former friar and former home of Hamilton Fish.
Beautiful hike! Definitely easy - beautiful views of the Hudson River, Westpoint, Charming wooded areas and the picturesque Garrison Institute. Plenty of moments to stop and take photos. Pay attention to the secret moments just off the main trail - they were always beautiful and perfect for a photo op!
