Confirmed from Arguello Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public park featuring a baseball field, tennis courts, picnic areas, and a playground.
What runners say about Arguello Park
I have visited San Carlos since at least 2005, and I had never found this park before. I am surprised. It is a great part for kids. It has hiking, a baseball field, tennis courts, and a playground with a fence around it, making it great for toddlers and preschoolers. We had a great time and strongly recommend it.
A a cute smaller, quiet park. Me and my significant other where browsing by, when we noticed, found and decided to go for a little walk, and found a few picnic tables that we had lunch at. It was nice and sunny, not to hot as we where able to watch the very busy groundskeepers, maintain its cleanliness and beauty.
Had no idea originally how to get to flat, restroom part of park and tennis courts. Take Phelps from San Carlos Ave and drive past Arundel school up road to the right which is hard to identify otherwise. Great park hosting many of the city's recreational activities.
Very private and nice park. Parking is a challenge, but the effort is worth it. It has a secluded Little League field and a playground. Bathroom facilities and a snack shack when games are played. Lots of hiking too.
