Confirmed from Argyle Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Has a little parking lot where maps had me enter, so drive slow when getting close so you don't miss the entrance. Great place to take a little walk or fish for bass especially on a nice day. Plenty of geese and swans so do be mindful of where you step.

Beautiful local park. The cherry blossom trees this time of year are so pretty! There's a little pond and waking trail an we love that its dog friendly! The trail loops around the pond and its a little less than a mile.

Argyle Lake park is a beautifully done setting for taking a leisure stroll, brisk walk, jog and it is perfect for wedding pictures or sweet sixteen pictures. You will see from the images that there are plenty of picturesque images to capture of the park, lake , the marina across the street or take in a music venue in…

It was a windy and cold afternoon of April. Unlike previous year, this year it’s still cold in NYC. We took A li’ll escape and run from the chaotic city life to enjoy the serenity of nature. We choose the village of Babylon.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
