What runners say about Arizona Trail
You can park right off the main road next to to train crossing and walk to location or drive along train next to train tracks till you get to the 2 tunnels. Hiking trail can go in either direction. Uphill will take you along train tracks and has some very cool views.
Took my 11 year old son on a mountain bike trip up to snow bowl in flagstaff. We had never been but the road at the base of the mountain was filled with mountain bikers willing to help guide us to where we needed to go.
Love everything about this trail . We love hiking in beautiful Flagstaff. Have a blessed day.
