Confirmed from Arthur J. Hendrickson Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public area featuring a pool open during summer months & year-round athletic courts & walking paths.

Absolutely love walking here, park is clean and safe. The ducks, birds are contained on the water and stay in their areas, I'm glad because I am afraid of birds.
Little known fact... Valley Stream is home to more parks and green spaces than almost any other village in Nassau County. And if you like parks, Hendrickson is a must see! Something for everyone...
This is indeed one of the best and well-kept parks in all of Long Island, possibly in all of New York! Lots of exercise stations and running trails for people to jog and work out daily, a playground for parents to take their families, and a wonderful pool that is open during the summer at its entrance!
Nice park with a lake and magnolia trees. Paved trail, perfect for strollers and bikes. 🌳 you can go through this park into valley stream park without paying the fee to enter the park. Really cool playground and a pool for a fee. Bathrooms are by the playground. Jungle gym along the way
