Confirmed from Ashley Valley Community Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Grassy community park, popular with families, boasting a playground, a baseball field and pavilions.

Very large, multi use park area with large shade trees and beautiful, well maintained lawns. Expansive playground equipment, 2 large pavilions, a walking park area with a creek, pond and gazebo, very peaceful and wildlife if you pause long enough to take it all in. Baseball diamonds, clean restrooms, plenty of parking.
As long as dogs are on leashes and children stay with their parents walking. Great place to walk dogs and enjoy the sunset.
One of my favorite parks in the area. The walking trail is well landscaped and maintained.
This park is basically in the heart of Vernal and is a great place to take the family. Events are often held here for kids, families, and the like. The playing areas for the kids are really nice and in good condition. The eating areas and restroom are easily accessible.

The practical stuff

- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
