Confirmed from Audubon Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Audubon Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (71 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 3 mentions

“A beautiful, large and shockingly well maintained park.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“Audubon Park is a beautiful park with public pool Fantastic location and features something for everyone.”

🌳 shaded & cool 4 mentions

“It's much cooler than the surrounding areas during the summer with all the shade.”

This is one of my favorite parks. Many people come for the disc golf. I enjoy the trail (be aware of standing water during some conditions) they have great picnic tables and good restrooms. People were scavenging for pecans today. It's much cooler than the surrounding areas during the summer with all the shade.

My family enjoyed this park. Large walking trail, restrooms near by and a decent playground with plenty of trees around.

My little guy loves this park! There are so many slides to choose from, a fun rock climbing area, and lots of trees with the occasional squirrel running around. The cool part?

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 5 mentions

“Garland is actively spending millions improving their parks where as Dallas has a dozen parks over 50 acres without even a Porta potty.”
