We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Augie Phase 2 Trail Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Augie Phase 2 Trail Trailhead
I’m the trail builder/steward for these trails. This is not the Augie trailhead. The Augie trails begin at Liggett Road. This is a parking lot near Augie 2 and Nellie trails. Great place to park…just not the trailhead.
Great and convenient trailhead for Augie. The trail is nice. I just hope JC P&R and UTC don’t shut it down like they did the rest of the trails in Fleming Park.
Nice peaceful trail. Lots of birds! Kind of rough terrain, wear good shoes! Lots of loose rocks. My kids and dogs were able to do it well, though!
This is my top favorite mountain biking section of the Augie trail! There are a couple of spots where the trail runs across the top of the ridge with drops down each side. It's not drastic but the trail was really well done with some flowy yet slightly gritty singletrack.
