Confirmed from Augusta Canal Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic route for hikers, runners and bikers (including family groups), with a paved, shaded path and wildlife sightings.

Great family hiking & biking trail! Dog friendly! Wide/double-track, paved & hard-packed trail, approximately 8 miles one-way from Savannah Rapids to downtown Augusta. Scenic, flat and easy ride to just get out, relax, walk or pedal and take in the scenery and fresh air.
Been going here a lot lately and they've been doing alot of clearing and cleaning up. This is by far the most peaceful and beautiful places to visit in Augusta. Just keep walking past the Water Works building to see for yourself.
Great Trail. Easy to walk, jog or bike. Mixed of shaded and sunny areas. We did about 4 miles total.
