Confirmed from Augusta Greenway Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Augusta Greenway Trail
“Beautiful, easy and well-kept trail with great view on the river.”
Beautiful, easy and well-kept trail with great view on the river. Accessible playground and parking available nearby. Perfect for a walk with kids and toddlers.
The entrance is right after the boat landing at the playground. Trail is scenic and there's a good chance you'll see wildlife. I've seen a deer, chipmunks, squirrels, herons, and a fox once. There's at least once small path that goes to the river where you could go fishing.
A fun out and back trail that extends south along the river. You can pick up the trail from Bridge Street, City Hall, or the boat launch and follow it all the way south past the arsenal.
Trail conditions & character
“The map shows that there is a way to connect up to the parking lot at the end, but this is not cleared well and is very steep, so I would treat it as an out and back trail.”
“Easy for beginners but not very accessible if you use a wheelchair.”

- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
