We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Bond Brook Recreation Area yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Bond Brook Recreation Area
“Beautiful area seemingly smack dab in the middle of Augusta.”
This is a beautiful multiuse trail in the heart of augusta. This is a moderately challenging uphill climb that can be hiked or accessed by car on paved trail roads. In winter trails are groomed for skiing or snowshoes. No toilets but plenty of free parking and great scenery.
Great riding but trail signs are largely non-existent which is a challenge given all of the trail development. Finding your way is probably easier the more you ride there, but tough to navigate for the first trip at least.
The mountain bike trails here are great. The road access up allows you to ride several down hills by either parking at the bottom or the top completing a circuit. A mix of trails.
Went hiking here a few weeks ago and will DEFINITELY be back to shred the trails on my mountain bike. They have an abundance of trails and they were all well maintained.
Trail conditions & character
“I would definitely recommend for someone if you want some cool pics and a nice view and there is even a little waterfall if you look in the right spot”
