I very much enjoyed walking this meandering trail. It's well maintained and very lovely. There are no restrooms and no waste disposal, so plan for that and it's golden!
Always a fun trail but especially on rainy days because it's so protected. I like to extend the walk by connecting to Montana creek trail

Auke lake is one of the great beauties of Juneau. The trail that skirts the southern edge of the lake and takes about 40 minutes to walk depending on your pace. It offers some wonderful views and makes for a great spot to walk your dog or simply get some fresh air.
