Confirmed from AUM Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about AUM Trailhead

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (58 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 6 mentions

“Easy access, well maintained, often wildlife sightings: two miles trail, two miles paved; I have logged hundreds of miles here over the years.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 4 mentions

“It was a beautiful walk through a heavily wooded section.”

These are beautiful family friendly trails. There is not much in the way of marking that says how long a trail is but there are good markers to let you know where you are on the red trail however long that may be.

This is a good place for nature walk and jogging and meditation practice. Some points into the trail might make you feel like you into deep forest but you can listen to the car’s railing and super fast accelerating sounds. Birds chirping and calm and cool breeze welcome you.

★★★★★ — Jaya , Jun 2022

This walking trail is a nice circular trail with several lengths. It's a great trail for families, it's not too difficult but it's got nice scenery and wildlife. I like to go here on days I want a walk in the woods without leaving the city.

★★★★★ — Coty , Oct 2021

The walking trails were fine. nothing spectacular but nice to get out in nature for a little bit. I walked all the trails but they're all about the same as far as views go. didn't see any wildlife except a couple of cardinals and a few other little birds.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
