Confirmed from Blount Cultural Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Sizable city park with walking trails, a dog park, duck ponds & statues in a picturesque setting.
What runners say about Blount Cultural Park
“Like the museum and theater the park is top notch, extremely well maintained and a bright spot for a largely otherwise depressing town.”
“Beautiful park with rolling hills and pretty paved walkways.”
“It’s such a peaceful place to walk, and the free museum is a great bonus.”
This is the best park in Montgomery. It has lakes, nice winding paths, and some pretty buildings. Getting hot? Enjoy some a/c at the free art museum and catch a delicious bite to eat at Verde Cafe.
What a great area and place to walk, relax and reflect. This park was dedicated in 2002 by the vice president of the US. There are very large areas for picnicing, walking, playing with your dog, and enjoying the outdoors. The park contains several landmarks like the art museum as well as a cultural museum.
Loved the walking trails here! We usually go to the bark park but decided to go on the open trails because the weather was so nice. We really enjoyed it!
This park is really good!! Mainly for running, walking or just go there to spend some quality time!!! This is huge park with great trails and natural beauty!!! You can go alone or with your dogs you will feel good!!! If you are not from this area and don’t want to walk or run just go and you will not regret!!!
