Confirmed from Aux Sable Springs Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Aux Sable Springs Park
“Very clean, nice restrooms, nice walking path.”
“Park is gorgeous but there is nothing but carp in that creek.”
“Peaceful walks during lunch hour.”
Finally made the trek on bike to this park on the northwest part of Minooka last week. It has a nice loop trail which is part blacktop and part limestone which is great for walking, running and a nice stroll on a bike. There are ballfields there and a playground as well. Bathrooms are going up as of now.
The park is worthy of 5 stars for sure! One thing to be aware of is that there is no shade for the benches.
Peaceful walks during lunch hour. Nice to explore a bit. I try to stay away from the kiddie playground area as I don't want Mothers getting nervous about their children. Plenty of trails to wander on. Highway noise from 80 is evident. Nice ponds and Aux Sable creek. Porta potties for now.
By far, my favorite park. It is new, clean, and has many things to do. It has a playground with a zip line, a splash pad, walking trails, and pavilions and you can play bags. Plenty of parking, soccer fields, and baseball fields. Plenty to do here.

- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
