Confirmed from Awosting Falls' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Visitors can follow a quarter-mile paved path from the parking lot to see this waterfall.
What runners say about Awosting Falls
“This place is beautiful to come with the family or if you like to walk and feel the nature won't be disappointed.”
“Access is via a small and easy trail about a quarter mile long from the parking lot.”
Very cool fall, doesn't have alot of water though. The trail from the parking lot is short about 5-7 minute walk. Once you arrive the train leaves on the top of the falls where you see the water stream that feeds the fall. Takes some nice pics just be careful walking to the edge.
Just a beautiful spot. Takes about 10 minutes to hike to it from the parking lot. There are flat rocks at the top to stand and carefully peek over the edge. Then it's about a 5 minute walk to the bottom along a windy gravel road. Just gorgeous from the bottom.
Wow! The falls were stunning!! We luckily came the day after it rained too and the water was just MOVING. Following the path you actually get to experience the falls from the top and the bottom. You don't always get different virw points with waterfalls. $10 to enter the whole park and 100% worth it.
This beautiful beautiful massive falls is worth the visit! Lots of water coming down from the top of this tall waterfalls. Lots of parking with clean earth friendly restrooms. Easy paved hike and there is also a biking loop. Its $10 per car to get in and they provide you with map. This park closes by 5:00 PM.
