Confirmed from Peterskill At Minnewaska State Park Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park 2.5 hours from NYC where rock climbing is popular.

Amazing trails with views! I was a little worried about going during summertime but it was beautiful and a great hike !
Great rock climbing location and great to walk around. We went with a local guide and had a great day. Caution: The restroom is very sparse with no running water , so pack your own wipes.
Peterskill in Minnewaska State Preserve is a beautiful spot for outdoor climbing. We come here for top rope, and the crags are excellent. The park itself is scenic with plenty of hiking trails, so it’s a great place to spend the whole day. A fantastic climbing area in a beautiful state park.
Love this spot for rock climbing and bouldering. Four stars only because it falls a bit short in comparison to the quantity available at the next door Mohonk Preserve (the Gunks). Fewer high quality roped routes at the upper grades especially. Some great boulder problems though.
