Confirmed from Aycock Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Very pleasant and quiet, wonderful walking trail, very long and winding through the park. Play area for the children, nice Park just to hang out and reflect on your day or to plan for the next day. Ample parking spaces, within if you had too, to Juction 385. Even has a mini bridge. Tennis courts.
Lots of neighborhood children for my daughter to play with. Has 2 jungle gyms, one for smaller kids and the other is just a little bigger. Has a rope swing, a tennis court, and a jogging track that circles the park. Very chill and happy environment and my daughter loved it!
Wonderful park. They have a tennis court, a paved path for walking or kid biking, two play grounds, 2 swings for special needs children, a shaded party area, a gazebo, and restrooms. Couldn't be happier. :)
Nice shaded place to walk on a hot summer morning. And nice amenities to play when the walk is done. Also you can bring your kids to play on the playground while the adults work out.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
