Confirmed from Oak Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Plenty of shade. Clean. Slides, monley bars, swings for big kids and infants, and a small walking track. I love the little book box where you can sit an read.

Oh my brothers came down for the 4th of July from Texas we had a blast playing hide and go seek they actually have a little place to drop off a book and pick up a book for the neighborhood it was quite nice nice and shaded and quiet

★★★★★ — Demetrius , Jul 2021

Quaint little park with lots of shade. Swings for children and infants. Plenty of grass for playing ball sports. A book deposit where people donate books to read or take/trade. Right in the heart of town.

★★★★★ — Phil , Aug 2019

A nice park with a nature trail. It has only been open for a few months, come check it out!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
