Confirmed from Lions Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Lions Park
“It's usually kept pretty clean though and is a nice park for events or just for taking the family for fun.”
“The walking/biking trail is nice & even for all ages.”
Best Park ever! I love that the little toddler park is fenced in away from thee bigger park. I liked the free library thing that they had by the bathroom. The area was so nice and I felt safe. My older kids loved the 2 big tall steep slides, one which was twirly. I like that there was a gazebo for me to sit at.
This is a nice park with a lot of open space. There is a playground for small children. Swings, a bathroom, parking lot, huge field, walking track, and a large pavilion. The only issue is there are no shade trees and it is very hot in the summertime.
Took grandsons there for play date, this park is perfectly situated for toddlers & bigger kids. The toddler area is soft padded & gated for the itty bitty people 🥰, the larger playground is a maze for bigger kids...a lot of fun. The walking/biking trail is nice & even for all ages.
Accessible playground for all. Small circular walking route around the park, shelter seating area and two decent size car park at both ends of the park. Equipment well kept and area was clean
Trail conditions & character

“I do wish for safety, that all who bring dogs would have their pets on a leash.”

- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
