A secluded and rugged trail. Perfect for a family hike! The hiking is easy, although a bit muddy in parts. The creek is peaceful and the path has a pillar crossing and a suspension bridge. Lots of wildflowers and good for birdwatching. My family saw a pileated woodpecker! I highly recommend a visit.
My favorite place go hiking. Beautiful trails. Very peaceful. Some parts can get a little muddy, especially in the spring.
Beautiful preserve with lots of trails and a stream. Proximity to Oxford is excellent. In less than a 5 minute drive you can be in uptown. Encountered a snake on the trail that I couldn’t identify. Trails were wet and muddy at the time I hiked but it made the trek more interesting.
