Confirmed from Bairstow Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Bairstow Trailhead

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (18 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

It’s a good trail. Nice views. Try to go when the weather is not scorching hot. Don’t do what do did lol. It was so hot that day oh my god.

★★★★★ — Yev , Jun 2023

It's a very nice trail if you don't mind traffic noise. The marsh area is surprising quiet and a lovely spot for birding. It's been known to get some rarities, like the marbled godwit. It's a great spot during fall migration to catch a variety of plovers. It's a hidden gem birding location.

★★★★☆ — Leina , Aug 2025

Nice place to walk and walk the dog. When they turn the water fountains back on they even have one for them near the water park.

★★★★★ — Ronney , Mar 2021

Wow! Right in our backyard! Who knew? We’ve been back now 4 times! Great trails and well kept!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
