Confirmed from Baker Meadow Reservation's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Baker Meadow Reservation

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (41 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 8 mentions

“Beautiful views of the meadow with many benches to enjoy the view from.”

Fantastic place to relax in the shade, bird watch & enjoy birdsong. Easy, well maintained trail just ten minutes from I-93 (Andover). Took me a while to find the access/parking on Oriole DR.

★★★★★ — Erica , Jun 2021

A wonderful combination of open grassy spaces and trails through the woods. Lots of options for families - distances ranging from 1/2 mile to several miles. The maps the town provides aren't particularly helpful, so be open to experimenting with different routes.

★★★★★ — Kevin , Nov 2019

Lovely place for a walk. Lots of evidence of beavers, including two lodges.

★★★★★ — Patricia , Apr 2018

We did 2.7 miles in 1 hour and 24 minutes. A well marked trail with a couple of inclines/declines that lead through 2 reservations and around a meadow. We saw a frog, a turkey mom with her babies, a mother duck with her babies and a couple of rabbits.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
