Confirmed from Bare Hill Unique Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiking area featuring kid-friendly trails and a lake.

“Great views of the lake but be sure to stay on the trails as there are huge pricker bushes”
What a fantastic little out and back hike. It's absolutely beautiful. The path is more like a meadow Blvd than a trail so there is no way you can get lost here.
Maple and I went hiking at Bare Hill Unique Area in NY. It is maintained by the DEC and has a few traditional trails it is mostly mowed grass as areas in between forests it was easy and fun! We hiked about five miles!😁
Bare Hill Unique Area. Wonderful open fielded area with a couple trails. Beautiful scenic overlook of Canandaigua Lake. Quiet except for hunting season. A lot of fox and other small wildlife.
