Confirmed from Onanda Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Playful park with trails for walking, a dog-friendly upper area, basketball courts and a playground.

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Easy trail to walk, took me approximately an hour to walk at a moderate pace.”

This is a beautiful park! We went during the off season but we plan to go back during the regular on season. The hiking trails are great with glimpses of a waterfall. Lots of uphill walking though, so be aware of that.

Always beautiful, an easy hike even with littles. Hike the gorge or the trails!

★★★★★ — Brittany , Jun 2023

Beautiful park. Multiple trails, however my favorite is the one along the creek that leads to 2 climbable waterfalls (w ropes) and then a final one to view. Trail isn’t super long (maybe a mile idk?) but i recommend waterproof shoes as it makes the hike easier and less messy.

Beautiful little area. We just moved to the area & still figuring it all out! Lots of room to sit with family/friends or going for a swim! I personally wish you were able to go for a walk near the water @ this location but that’s okay many other areas on Canandaigua lake!!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
