What runners say about Bates Trail
I didn't realize the trail had a name. It appears to be the trail that runs around the back side of Valley View Middle School which is their cross-country exercise Trail. There are no other Trails back there the school property borders Residential Properties. It's a nice walk about a mile.
For what it is, it's great. Maybe half a mile at most but still nice to walk through with kids and or pets. Located in the school parking lot towards the back.
Very quiet trail through the trees very near a school. It's a pretty short trail. I would say plan on going around it twice by returning through the parking area to get a dec not distance out of it.
Nice lil half mile trail in a u shape with a west and east trailhead access on the west side of valley view Middle schools parking lot
