Confirmed from Bay Area Ridge Hiddenbrooke Backside Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Bay Area Ridge Hiddenbrooke Backside Trailhead
Gorgeous views. Pretty steep and watch out for thistles. The youngest in our group was 11 and he did fine. No shade
It's nice to hike after a rain. No ticks, and the cows are out to kiss at. The view from the top is worth the climb. There are some snakes, but I've never been bothered by one.
