Confirmed from Blue Rock Springs Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Community park with hiking trails, picnic/BBQ areas, playground, a lake & an island with peacocks.
What runners say about Blue Rock Springs Park
“The park is clean, well maintained, and has a welcoming atmosphere.”
“Beautiful Park to have a family outing, company picnic, or romantic getaway.”
“It was packed with people but we honestly had no idea because it was quiet and so large it felt secluded.”
The peacocks greeted us for our nice hike and view of Vallejo and adjacent cattleland. Quite a nice 360 view from the top.
Did not spend any time in the park/picnic area here. We hiked up the hill. (* Warning the trail up to the hill is currently surrounded by nettles - where long pants! *) It is a very short hike to a wonderful view spot just above the park. Or you can head up the trail a mile or so to where the paragliders take off from.
Such a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The park is clean, well maintained, and has a welcoming atmosphere. It's a great spot for a walk or spending time with family.
Nice park with big lawns and play grounds. Perfect place for a quick hike to see a sunset!
