Confirmed from Bayfront Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Small bayside park next to the airport, with a walking trail & benches for watching the planes land.
What runners say about Bayfront Park
“One of my favorite parks to bike/run/walk while soaking in the scenic views: the bay, plane watching and nature coming all together.”
Amazing views. You can watch flights taking off and landing all day along. Theres a nice walk way. There are benches. You will see an huge parking lot with empty spaces but you can't use them. They are reserved for the hotel guests.
If you love watching airplanes take off and land, are an aviation enthusiast, this is a place you have to check out! It is great walking along the waterfront too. Always cool weather here too.
A place to take a walk and checkout the scenery. You can view the airplanes takeoff and land. The walkway is at least 8ft wide and at certain places a bench is available to sit on. I also saw a Starbucks in which you can get your fix And stay on the trails. Your walking along the bay so your gonna smell the ocean.
Great plane spotting place. A great view of all the landings and takeoffs. Also a great place to exercise or just admire the view. There is exercise equipment near the Marriott hotel. The parking is very limited though. But it is worth the wait.
Trail conditions & character
“Parking is convenient, and there are usually fellow aviation enthusiasts around, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.”
“The views are fantastic, especially during sunset when you can see the planes land with the backdrop of the bay and the mountains in the distance.”
