We went to visit the Monarch Butterfly Grove and took the Beach Foot Trail from the Monarch Butterfly Grove to a secluded entrance to Pismo Beach. The weather was excellent. Sunny skies mid-70's temperature and my sweet beautiful American Bulldog Service Dog Lucy enjoying running and playing on the beach ⛱️.
Perfect trails for the littles, fur babies and just some alone quiet time. Trails lead to the ocean, through the campsites for water for the pups, swim spots AND trails toward the famous monarch butterflies! Beautiful views for photo opportunities too...one of my favorites for a quick run too!
Beautiful beach. Great place to catch the sunset. It's not overly crowded. Restaurants, hotels and shops nearby. Lots to do. I love hiking the sand dunes, walking in the park or along the beach. It's all right next to each other.
Beautiful walk that goes up and down the beach. You can enter from many different places and walk along the dunes. I like to walk starting at the Monarch butterfly sanctuary and then just follow the trail. I am not in the best shape but I can easily walk the trail without struggling.
