What runners say about Pismo State Beach
An absolutely cracking beach. Soft white sand goes on either direction from the pier for what appears to be miles. The ice cold Pacific doesn't put water sport enthusiasts off and with families attending for fun days out this is a myst to visit. Outstanding sunset from any perspective.
Great place for relaxing, walking, exercise, or sitting around a campfire in the evening watching the sunset...... I love to start out my weekends with a couple hours of nice cool morning walk/jog and cardio on the beach.
I took a day trip to Pismo Beach, CA in early December 2025 and enjoyed a leisurely stroll on the pier and beach. Nice boardwalk and sandy beach!
Love Prismo, can’t wait to return. Stay near the beach and just walk around town.
