Confirmed from Bear Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This is a lovely, well kept park, with a covered area for picnicking, playground, and paved pathways along Bear Creek, part of the Greenway. It's close to medical facilities, a good place to kill time while waiting for someone there.

Fun park with great walking path. Unique old wooden play structure; awesome hide and seek spot. Tennis courts, skate park, and during the summer they play movies, and music in the park! In the fall watch the salmon spawn. Bear Creek Greenway - bike path runs right through it and there is also a dog park!

Hands down the best park we have enjoyed. Fun for everyone here. Our dog enjoyed it just as much as we did. Over 20 miles long and so much beauty all around. Everyone should stop at this park and see what it has to offer. Fun for families and tons of neat fun things for the children to enjoy.

Local beautiful park. Fun for the kids, teens, adults and your pet. Park has a Playground, Skate Bowl, Dirt Track for Bikers with hills, Tennis Court, Outdoor Theater (Seasonal), Party Canopies for day use and Party Reservations, Fenced Dog Area, Creek that runs trough the park and a Bike Path that runs all through…

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
