Confirmed from Beaver Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Beaver Creek Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (107 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 5 mentions

“Clean, nice well maintained playscapes, not too crowded.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 5 mentions

“Spacious, remote, extremely open and quiet I proposed to my girlfriend in the woods nearby and she said yes”

Great little neighborhood park, good for running laps, tennis, baseball, open field, a large sandbox, an infant playground, a 3-5 yo playground, and my favorite; the story walk! Sterling Heights Public Library setup a storybook split up in stations to motivate walkers (and their kids!

We came to check the park out around 8:30 there was almost no one there which was pretty cool. The park itself is huge with a trail around it and also a wooded trail by playground. There is also a tennis court and baseball field.

Lovely park! The playground is huge and beautiful! They have plenty for toddlers, and older kids to do. The walking path is paved and surrounded by big trees for plenty of shade. They also have a nice story along the walk.

This Sterling Hts. public park was a great find for us. My 7 yr-old daughter, the playground afficionado, totally loves it. There's an extra lrg play area for all, with the newest & neatest play features & obstacles... The smaller toddler playset & huge sandbox... Clay tennis court...

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
