Confirmed from Beck Lake Bike Park Trails' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed recreational area with pump tracks, jump lines, skills areas and trails.
What runners say about Beck Lake Bike Park Trails
“Seriously stunning views and so much fun to paddle board, kayak, and swim with friends.”
I am very impressed with beck lake bike trails. The trails are pretty well marked at each intersection so you know what trail you’re on and where it will end up. It you’re looking for fast and flowy this is your Bike park. It’s not technical like Outlaw and other trails in the area.
THIS IS OUR FAVORITE PLACE TO SWIM IN CODY, WYOMING! Seriously stunning views and so much fun to paddle board, kayak, and swim with friends. Great for biking, hiking, walking and just enjoying this beautiful Mountain View. We love it here!!!
Beck Lake is a great place to go for a walk/run that is right on the edge of town. Plenty of parking and lots of different trails both paved and unpaved. It even has a small BMX park and a dog park.
Fun to just walk around the reservoirs or take a spin on the pump track. There is a great dog park as well as multiple well-shaded picnic tables and walking paths. Well worth a visit to just relax and unwind. It is typically a bit windier than in town, so plan accordingly.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
